The walk
Stop by stop
350 metres up, with 360-degree views
The Tembo Deck spans three floors between 340m and 350m, with floor-to-ceiling windows wrapping the whole circle. On a clear day you can see Mount Fuji to the west and Tokyo Bay to the east. Your guide points out the landmarks below, from Senso-ji to Tokyo Station.
450 metres, the highest public point in Japan
A sloped glass corridor spirals up from the Tembo Deck to the Tembo Galleria, Japan's highest publicly accessible viewing point. It's a shorter, more dramatic space than the main deck, and your guide explains the engineering that lets the tower sway safely in earthquakes and typhoons.
300-plus shops at the base of the tower
Back at ground level, Tokyo Solamachi is a sprawling complex of shops, character stores and food halls built around the tower's base. Your guide walks you through the layout so you know where to come back to afterward, whether you're after souvenirs, a meal, or a specific brand's flagship store.

Where we meet
Tokyo Solamachi
- Take the Tobu Skytree Line to Tokyo Skytree Station, or the Asakusa Line/Hanzomon Line to Oshiage Station.
- Head into Tokyo Solamachi at the base of the tower.
- Your guide meets you there holding a sign that says Trip Port.
The tour ends back inside Tokyo Solamachi, where you're welcome to stay and explore on your own.

Is this really a private tour?+
Yes. Only your group and your guide. The 2–15 range is simply the group size we can take in one booking.
I am travelling solo. Can I book?+
Yes. Solo travellers are booked at the 2-person price so the tour can run privately for you.
Can I choose the start time?+
Yes. We offer start times from 10:00 to 20:00. Sunset and evening slots give you both daylight and night views.
What if it rains or is foggy?+
The tour still runs; the observation decks are indoors. Visibility will vary with the weather, which is outside our control.
Do I need to buy a Skytree ticket separately?+
No. Entry to both the Tembo Deck and Tembo Galleria is included and arranged for you in advance.
Which languages do the guides speak?+
All guides speak English. Some also speak Chinese, Korean, Spanish or French. Ask when booking and we will try to match you.
Can I buy food or shop at Solamachi during the tour?+
The guided portion covers the observation decks and a walk through Solamachi's layout. You're welcome to stay afterward to eat or shop on your own.
Do I need to pay anything on the day?+
No. Your guide and entry ticket are prepaid. Bring cash only if you want to eat or shop at Solamachi.
