A lively food hall inside Shibuya Mark City
We start inside Teng Grand Food Hall, a bustling multi-vendor food hall where different counters serve everything from yakitori to fried snacks. Your guide orders your first round of food and drink and explains how a Japanese food hall works.
A small spot you would not find on your own
From the food hall we duck into Shibuya's backstreets to a small, local izakaya that your guide knows personally. This is where you'll get a real feel for izakaya culture: shared plates, a second drink, and conversation over a low table or counter.
Retro candy shop by day, bar by night
Our last stop is a themed bar built around dagashi, the cheap, nostalgic snacks Japanese kids grew up buying at corner shops. The walls are lined with retro candy and toys, and your third drink comes with a side of 1980s and 90s Japan nostalgia.
A night-time finish at the world's busiest intersection
We end the night with a walk to Shibuya Scramble Crossing, lit up and still busy well after dark. Your guide gets a group photo with the crossing's neon signage behind you before walking you back to the meeting point.

- The meeting point is the 7-Eleven near Shibuya Station's west side.
- Look for the 7-Eleven storefront a short walk from the station.
- Your guide meets you outside holding a sign that says Trip Port, starting at 6:00pm.
The tour ends near Shibuya Scramble Crossing, a short walk back to the meeting point or Shibuya Station.

Yes. Only your group and your guide. The 2-15 range is simply the group size we can take in one booking.
I am travelling solo. Can I book?+
Yes. Solo travellers are booked at the 2-person price so the tour can run privately for you.
Can everyone in my group drink alcohol?+
You must be 20 or older to join, Japan's legal drinking age. Non-alcoholic options are available at every stop if you prefer not to drink.
What if it rains?+
The tour runs in light rain. In a typhoon or severe weather we will contact you to reschedule or refund in full.
Can my guide handle dietary restrictions?+
Vegetarian and allergy-friendly swaps are possible at most stops. Tell us at booking so your guide can plan ahead.
Which languages do the guides speak?+
All guides speak English. Some also speak Chinese, Korean, Spanish or French. Ask when booking and we will try to match you.
How is this different from the Shinjuku Bar Crawl Tour?+
Same format, different neighbourhood. This tour stays in Shibuya with a food hall, a backstreet izakaya, and a retro candy bar. The Shinjuku version visits Omoide Yokocho, Kabukicho, and Golden Gai.
Do I need to pay anything on the day?+
No. Dinner and 3 drinks are prepaid. Bring a little extra cash only if you want more food or drinks beyond what's included.
