We start by ducking into Shibuya Yokocho, a narrow indoor alley lined with small izakaya counters modelled after old-school food streets. It's easy to walk past the entrance without noticing it, and your guide shows you how this kind of alley works.

Where nature meets the city, on a rooftop

Miyashita Park sits on top of a shopping and dining complex, with green space, a skate park, and city views above the street noise. We take a few minutes here to see how Shibuya mixes green space into a dense urban grid.

3Shibuya Scramble Crossing

The world's busiest intersection

Up to 3,000 people cross at once when the lights change here. Your guide finds a good vantage point for photos and times your crossing so you can experience it properly, not just see it from the sidewalk.

•About 2 km of flat walking, with some crowds near the crossing.

•Runs rain or shine. Umbrellas are easy to buy near the meeting point.

•Children are welcome. The crossing area gets crowded, so hold hands with little ones.

•Shopping and food stops are optional and paid on the spot.

•Evening slots (6pm) are busier and more neon-lit than morning slots.

•Please arrive 5 minutes early. The guide waits up to 15 minutes.

Morning and early afternoon are calmer for photos at the crossing. Evening slots show Shibuya's neon side at its best.

What if it rains?+

The tour runs in light rain. In a typhoon or severe weather we will contact you to reschedule or refund in full.

Is there time to shop along the way?+

The route passes Center Gai and PARCO. Tell your guide if you want a short browsing stop and we'll work it into the pace.

All guides speak English. Some also speak Chinese, Korean, Spanish or French. Ask when booking and we will try to match you.

How is this different from the Shibuya Bar Crawl Tour?+

This is a daytime or early-evening walking tour with no food or drinks included. The Bar Crawl is an evening nightlife experience with drinks and food at izakaya stops.

Do I need to pay anything on the day?+

No. The tour itself is prepaid. Bring a little cash or a card if you want to shop or eat along the way.
