Stop by stop
A short practice session before you ride
We meet at the Yotsuya base after dark and check in with your guide. Before heading out, there's a short briefing on the rules of the road and a practice session on the e-scooters. No licence or prior experience is needed, it's built for beginners.
Riding Minato's streets after dark
With the briefing done, you set off through Minato's streets at night, following your guide at an easy pace. The city reads differently lit up after sunset than it does in daylight, quieter streets, illuminated buildings, and Tokyo Tower coming in and out of view as you ride.
Tokyo Tower, from 150 metres up
Tokyo Tower has been a Tokyo landmark since it opened in 1958, a red-and-white steel lattice tower partly inspired by the Eiffel Tower. Your Main Observatory ticket is included, so you head straight up to 150m for panoramic night views over the city before heading back down to the scooters.

It was a very fun experience. Even though i was the only one on the tour, Sowa still made the tour fun and engaging! It was fun riding around on the scooter and seeing the city at night in tokyo tower! Very fun, definately try this experience when you are in tokyo!
My husband, teenagers, and I really enjoyed our nighttime e-scooter tour of the Tokyo Tower area. Our guide, Sowa, was wonderful and led the group safely through the streets. He was able to give us great context for the Tokyo Tower and the impressive history of its build. He was more than accommodating, as one in our party is a little scared of heights--Sowa led us back down the tower and showed us other parts of the neighborhood on the scooters. As these types of tours are not very common in Tokyo, we definitely got some amused looks from people we passed, but that only made our experience feel unique. I particularly appreciated that the vehicles kept us in designated bicycle lanes and did not disrupt the normal flow of traffic or people's daily lives. I don't mind "looking like a tourist" when I visit places but I strive not to become an obstacle for people who reside where I vacation. Sowa tells me he will be guiding tours to other parts of the city--such as the Imperial Castle. I highly recommend him and this company.
We were able to follow Google maps to location. They were unable to hold this tour though but quickly refunded our money.

It's a small-group tour, 2 to 7 guests per departure.
I'm travelling solo. Can I book?+
Yes. Solo travellers are booked at the 2-person price.
Can I choose the start time?+
Yes. Departures run at 10:00, 12:00, 14:00, 16:00, 18:00 and 20:00. This is the only e-scooter tour with evening and night departures, which is the main appeal of this particular route.
What if it rains?+
The tour runs in light rain. If conditions look unsafe for riding, contact us and we'll help you reschedule.
Do I need a licence or prior experience?+
No licence is needed. A short practice session is included before you ride, so beginners are fine.
Is the Tokyo Tower ticket really included?+
Yes. Admission to the Tokyo Tower Main Observatory (150m) is included in the tour price.
Which languages do the guides speak?+
All guides speak English.
How is this different from the other e-scooter tours?+
This is the only e-scooter tour that runs at night, and the only one with an attraction ticket (Tokyo Tower Main Observatory) included. The others run daytime routes around Akihabara, the Imperial Palace and Shibuya.
